This text based writing lesson plan is perfect for 4th and 5th grade teachers that need a writing plan for the entire year. The yearlong writing lesson plan is editable and has suggested resources for the year too. The lesson plan can be used with the suggested resources or with your own resources. The lesson plan is based on FSA Writing and preparing students for the FSA Writing test but could benefit other teachers too. Other states also teach text based writing such as: OAA in Ohio, RISE in Utah, AzMerit in Arizona, and PARCC in New Jersey.
